A series of Bitcoin thefts targeting Coldcard wallets has resulted in losses totaling over $100 million across three confirmed attack waves, according to research by Galaxy.
As reported by CoinTelegraph, 90% of the stolen Bitcoin remains unmoved, suggesting that the perpetrators have not yet attempted to use or exchange the majority of the ill-gotten funds.
Investigations are currently underway, including an examination of a suspected fourth wave of attacks, which could potentially increase the total losses to $130 million if confirmed.
